Mt. Nebo Meats was started because of our belief in a product that has been enjoyed by our families over the past few years. After continuously smoking meats we always had a ton of left over products that we did not want to waste. The easiest and most convenient thing to do was freeze them in individual packages that met our families particular needs. What we stumbled upon was the ability to reheat our products in the chamber sealed bags. This reheating process keeps all the original juices and flavors contained in the bag conserving overall taste and flavor. We pride ourselves on using top quality products to provide ready to eat products to our customers at an affordable price. We do not add preservatives or any ingredients that are unecessary.
We have been making our sausage for many years and decided it was time to share it with you. The recipe is a breakfast style sage sausage. The fat content is kept to a minimum which allows you to substitute it in any recipe without a ton of grease.
